2 Hour Homeschool

This is a critical step in simplifying your homeschooling. Without this simplification, nothing else fits, frustration and boredom sets in.

You’re Not Failing at Homeschool — Your System Is

Most homeschoolers make one of two mistakes:

  • Try to mimic traditional school at home — and burn out fast.

  • Use full-service curriculums that devour the day and mom’s attention.

Neither is sustainable. That’s why burnout is common and joy is rare.

On average, teachers spend 3.5 hours of instructional time on core subjects per day. This includes the inclusion of all the different academic needs of 25 to 30 students and interruptions. As a parent, 2 hours of core subject time is not only possible, in many cases it is more than enough time.

If you have read Michelle's story, her then 13 year old, in 3 years was not only accepted to University, she received a full 4 year academic scholarship. She basically did 5.5 years of schooling in 3 years. Michelle accomplished this while teaching an 11 and 8 year old and had a 3 year old as well.

The execration of learning when using the right systems and tools, is incredible. The trick is to create self motivated children who have a love of learning. This principle is woven throughout the Simplified Homeschooling method. No other program focuses so much on how a parent teaches, their mindset then we do.
